For infants and children, exceeding 240 mg/day is not recommended except under medical supervision. Chewable tablets: It is recommended to take one tablet four times daily after meals and at bedtime. The tablets should be chewed well before swallowing alone or with some water. For diagnostic purposes (endoscopic, radiological, or ultrasound examinations), tablets can be given at the recommended dose for 2-3 days before the day of the exam, and an additional tablet is recommended on the day of the exam. The maximum recommended dose for adults is 500 mg in 24 hours unless directed otherwise by a doctor. How to store Simethicone: Keep out of reach and sight of children.
