Product description: Glibenclamide / Metformin Hydrochloride formulation is used to lower blood sugar levels in type 2 diabetes patients as an addition to a healthy diet and exercise. It helps improve the body's response to insulin, reduce sugar production in the liver, and increase its utilization in the body. Specifically for type 2 diabetes patients (not insulin-dependent). Usage instructions: This medication is for adults only. Take as directed by the doctor. The medication should be taken with food. The usual starting dose is: Glibenclamide 1.25 – 2.5 mg / Metformin 500 – 1000 mg once or twice daily depending on the doctor's assessment. Warnings and precautions: Do not use the medication in the following cases: allergy to glibenclamide or metformin or sulfonylureas or any of the ingredients. Type 1 diabetes. Diabetic ketoacidosis.
