Product description: Lamotrigine tablets 100 mg is a medication used to control seizures and treat bipolar disorder, and it works by stabilizing abnormal electrical activity in the brain. Lamotrigine is usually used with other medications to treat seizures in adults and children aged two years and above, and it is also used to treat partial seizures in adults aged 16 and above. Lamotrigine is also used to treat bipolar disorder in adults aged 18 and above to help reduce mood swings. Do not take lamotrigine if: you are allergic to lamotrigine or any components of this medication. You should inform the doctor immediately if any allergic symptoms appeared previously. Warnings and precautions: you should inform the doctor or pharmacist immediately if allergic symptoms such as shortness of breath, rash, or swelling of the face or neck appear. Lamotrigine may cause Stevens-Johnson syndrome, a rare and serious skin condition that starts with flu-like symptoms and then develops into a painful and severe rash.
