What is betahistine dihydrochloride and its use: It is used to treat Meniere's disease, which is characterized by: dizziness (vertigo accompanied by nausea or vomiting), tinnitus, hearing loss or impairment. It is also used to reduce vestibular dizziness even without movement. Do not take betahistine dihydrochloride if: you are allergic to betahistine dihydrochloride or any of the ingredients. Warnings and precautions: Stop the medication immediately and consult your doctor or pharmacist if allergic symptoms appear such as: difficulty breathing, skin rash, swelling of the face or neck, dizziness or low blood pressure.
