Olmesartan Midoxomil / Amlodipine / Hydrochlorothiazide 40 mg / 5 mg / 12.5 mg coated tabletsWhat are the indications for use of Olmesartan / Amlodipine / Hydrochlorothiazide:Olmesartan / Amlodipine / Hydrochlorothiazide contains three active substances called Olmesartan Midoxomil, Amlodipine Besylate, and Hydrochlorothiazide. All three help control high blood pressure.• Olmesartan Midoxomil belongs to a group of drugs called "Angiotensin II receptor antagonists"• Amlodipine belongs to a group called "Calcium channel blockers"• Hydrochlorothiazide is one of a group called thiazide diureticsDo not take Olmesartan / Amlodipine / Hydrochlorothiazide:• If you are allergic to Olmesartan Midoxomil or Amlodipine or a specific group of calcium channel blockers (Dihydropyridine) to Hydrochlorothiazide or similar substances to Hydrochlorothiazide (Sulfonamides) or any other component of this medicine if you have diabetes or impaired kidney function and are treated with a blood pressure-lowering drug containing Spironolactone.• You have severe kidney problems.• If you have serious liver problems, or if bile secretion is poor, or if there is a blockage in bile drainage from the gallbladder, or if you have any jaundice.• If you have severe low blood pressure.• If you have poor blood flow to your tissues with symptoms such as low blood pressure, low pulse, and rapid heartbeat.• If blood flow from your heart is obstructed• If you have a decrease in cardiac output (leading to shortness of breath or peripheral swelling) after a heart attack.Precautions and warnings:Tell your doctor if you have any of the following health problems:• Kidney problems or kidney transplant.• Liver disease.• Heart failure or problems with heart valves or myocardium.• Severe vomiting, diarrhea, high doses of "water tablets," or if you follow a low-salt diet.• Increased potassium levels in the blood.• Adrenal gland problems• Diabetes.• Systemic lupus erythematosus• Allergies or asthma.• Skin reactions such as sunburn or rash after sun exposure or using a tanning bed.• If you have had skin cancer or if you develop an unexpected skin lesion during treatment.Possible side effects:Like all medicines, this drug can cause side effects, although they do not occur in everyone. When they do, they are often mild and do not require stopping treatment. Although many people do not experience them, the following side effects can be serious: allergic reactions and low blood pressure. Other potential side effects include:• Dizziness. Headache; swelling in the ankles, feet, legs, hands, or arms; fatigue.• Low energy; tingling or numbness in the hands or feet; dizziness; awareness of heartbeat. Rapid heartbeat.• Some changes in blood test results.• Bronchitis; sore throat; runny or blocked nose. Cough; stomach ache; stomach flu; diarrhea; indigestion; nausea; joint or bone pain. Back pain; blood in urine. Urinary tract infection. Chest pain; flu-like symptoms; pain.• Decreased blood cell counts such as platelets and angina (chest pain or discomfort). Itching; skin rash. Allergic skin rash with hives. Swelling in the face. Muscle pain; feeling unwell.• Swelling in the face, mouth, and/or throat, acute kidney failure, and renal insufficiency. Lethargy.• Edema (fluid retention)• Abdominal pain; nausea; ankle swelling; drowsiness; redness and warmth in the face; visual disturbances (including double vision and blurred vision); awareness of heartbeat; diarrhea; constipation; indigestion; cramps; weakness; difficulty breathing.• Sleep difficulties. Sleep disorders; mood changes including anxiety. Depression; irritability; chills; taste changes; fainting; ringing in the ears; hair loss; increased need to urinate. Gynecomastia in men. Weight gain or loss.• ConfusionOther medicines and Olmesartan / Amlodipine / Hydrochlorothiazide:Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any of the following medicines for:• Blood pressure• Depression• Pain• Lipids• HIV• Fungal infections• Heart problems• Bacterial infections• Body temperature disorders• Transplanted organ.• Sleep• Cancer• Psychiatric disorders• Heart problems• Diabetes• Gout• Viruses• Stomach acid• Movement of food in the stomach and intestines.• MalariaHow to take Olmesartan / Amlodipine / Hydrochlorothiazide:• Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.• The recommended dose of Olmesartan / Amlodipine / Hydrochlorothiazide is one tablet per day.• The tablet can be taken with or without food. Swallow the tablet with some liquids (such as a glass of water). Do not chew the tablet. Do not take the tablet with grapefruit juice.• If possible, take your daily dose at the same time each day, for example, at breakfast.Storage of Olmesartan / Amlodipine / Hydrochlorothiazide:• Keep this medicine out of sight and reach of children.• Do not use this medicine after the expiration date printed on the carton after EXP. The expiration date refers to the last day of that month.• This medical product does not require special storage conditions.• Do not dispose of medicines in wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines you no longer use.
