Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride / Ammonium Chloride / Menthol is a medicine used to relieve cough and also acts as a decongestant. Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride works by inhibiting H1 histamine receptors, which temporarily helps relieve pain and reduce cough. Ammonium chloride acts as a decongestant and helps reduce mucus viscosity. Menthol has a local anesthetic effect that helps reduce cough. This medicine is used to relieve cough and congestion associated with colds or allergies. Do not take the medicine if you are allergic to diphenhydramine hydrochloride / ammonium chloride / menthol or any of its ingredients. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding. If you have taken MAO inhibitors in the past two weeks. It is not given to children under 6 years old. Precautions and warnings.
