🔹 What is Amlodipine / Valsartan and its indications for use: Amlodipine / Valsartan tablets contain two active substances, Amlodipine and Valsartan, and this combination is used to control high blood pressure in adults. Amlodipine belongs to the group of calcium channel blockers, working to prevent calcium entry into the walls of blood vessels, helping to prevent their constriction. Valsartan belongs to the group of angiotensin II receptor antagonists, working to prevent the effect of angiotensin II, which is responsible for narrowing blood vessels and raising blood pressure. The medication combination helps relax blood vessels, leading to lower blood pressure and improved blood flow.
