Hydrophilic Methylacrylate Gel Why use hydrophilic methylacrylate gel: Hydrophilic methylacrylate gel is used to treat different types of wounds and skin injuries, from acute wounds such as cuts, superficial scratches, and surgical burns to chronic wounds like ulcers. Do not use hydrophilic methylacrylate: • If you are allergic to the active ingredients or any other components of this medication. Precautions and warnings: Consult your doctor before use on sensitive areas or infected skin. Possible side effects: Stop using this product and seek medical attention immediately if you experience a rash; itching; red, sore, or peeling skin; chest or throat tightness; difficulty breathing, swallowing, or speaking; unusual hoarseness; or swelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue, or throat. The frequency of these side effects is unknown. Potential side effects: • Redness • Local pain If you experience side effects, contact your doctor. Other medications and hydrophilic methylacrylate: Inform your doctor about all the medications you are taking. How to use hydrophilic methylacrylate: • This medication is for external use. • Use as directed by your doctor. • Wash your hands before and after application. • Clean the wound from debris. • Apply a small amount of gel over the entire wound. • Cover the wound with a sterile material and secure it with a bandage or adhesive. • Reapply as necessary every 24-48 hours. Repeat in case of infected wounds. Storage instructions for hydrophilic methylacrylate: • Store at room temperature between 68 to 77 degrees Fahrenheit (20 to 25 degrees Celsius). • Keep this medication out of reach of children. • Do not use this medication after the expiration date printed on the package.
