Fluticasone Propionate / Salmeterol Xinafoate: The combination is used to treat symptoms of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and asthma. It is not used during acute episodes of shortness of breath. Do not take Fluticasone Propionate / Salmeterol Xinafoate if you are allergic to the active ingredients or any other components of this medication. If you have a milk allergy. Warnings and precautions: Tell your doctor about all your health conditions, including if you have: If you have heart problems. If you have high blood pressure. If you have seizures. If you have thyroid problems. If you have diabetes or high blood sugar. If you have liver problems. If you have osteoporosis. If you have immune system problems. If you have eye problems such as glaucoma or increased eye pressure. If you have any viral, bacterial, fungal, or parasitic infection. If you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding. Medications for heart failure like Digoxin. Other corticosteroids. Some other medications used to treat asthma. How to take Fluticasone Propionate / Salmeterol Xinafoate: Not used in children under 4 years old. Use this medication as prescribed by your doctor. Use this medication via inhalation only. The recommended usual dose is inhaled twice daily, morning and evening. How to store Fluticasone Propionate / Salmeterol Xinafoate: Store at room temperature from 68 to 77 degrees Fahrenheit (20 to 25 degrees Celsius). Keep this medication out of reach of children.
