Diclofenac Potassium 50 mg – Tablets (Rapidus) Quantity: 20 tablets Why is Diclofenac Potassium used? It is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), works to reduce pain and inflammation. It is used to treat: - Joint and bone inflammations (rheumatoid, acute gout, ankylosing spondylitis) - Back pain - Muscle strain, joint sprains, sports injuries, and fractures - Tendon inflammations - Headaches and migraines - Mild to moderate pain It is not used in the following cases: - Known allergy to diclofenac or any ingredients of the medication - Previous allergy to NSAIDs or aspirin - Stomach or intestinal ulcers, or current or past gastrointestinal bleeding - Severe liver or kidney problems - Serious heart conditions or history of heart attack or stroke - During the last three months of pregnancy Warnings and precautions: Tell your doctor if you suffer from: - Stomach or intestinal disorders (such as ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease) - Liver or kidney diseases - Bleeding disorders or anemia - High blood pressure or heart diseases or high cholesterol - Diabetes or lupus erythematosus - Smoking Note: The medication may increase the risk of cardiovascular problems with long-term use or high doses.
