Acesin 1% / Dithylamine Salicylate 5% – 100 g (Reparil Gel) What is the medication and its use? Acesin acts as a vascular stabilizer, reduces fluid leakage into tissues, helps decrease swelling, and accelerates the disappearance of edema, with improvement of local blood circulation and reduction of inflammation. Dithylamine Salicylate is a local analgesic and anti-inflammatory. It is used to relieve: muscle and joint pain and inflammation, sprains, bruises, hematomas, tendinitis and tendon sheath inflammation, varicose veins and thrombophlebitis, neck and back pain, and spinal problems. Care of veins after injections. It is not used in the following cases: known allergy to Acesin or Dithylamine Salicylate or any of the ingredients, on mucous membranes, on broken, ulcerated, or eczema-affected skin, or areas exposed to radiation therapy. Warnings and precautions: Stop use immediately and consult a doctor/pharmacist if allergic symptoms appear such as skin rash, facial or neck swelling, shortness of breath, dizziness, or low blood pressure. If symptoms do not improve or worsen, medical evaluation is necessary. For external use only. Possible side effects: redness or skin irritation, rash, itching, rarely: angioedema. Drug interactions: It is preferable to avoid use with blood thinners due to increased risk of local bleeding. How to use: Apply a thin layer to the affected area once or multiple times daily as needed or as directed by a specialist. Wash hands before and after use. Close the cap tightly after use.
