Tribenoside / Lidocaine suppositories: each suppository contains 400 mg of Tribenoside, 40 mg of Lidocaine. What are the indications for using Tribenoside / Lidocaine: Tribenoside / Lidocaine suppositories are for local relief of hemorrhoids. Tribenoside / Lidocaine cream is designated for relief of internal and external hemorrhoids. Tribenoside: reduces vascular permeability and has an inhibitory effect on a series of substances that play an important role in the inflammatory process and pain occurrence. Lidocaine: a local anesthetic, relieves pain and itching. Do not use Tribenoside / Lidocaine if: • you are allergic to the active ingredients or any of the excipients contained in the medication. Precautions and warnings: Tell your doctor about all your health conditions, including if: • you have liver disease • there is blood loss, anal pain, and a fever for more than a week Possible side effects: Tribenoside / Lidocaine can cause serious side effects. These side effects occur only in a few people and include: • allergic reactions • burning • itching Other medications and Tribenoside / Lidocaine: Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have taken other medications, including over-the-counter drugs or dietary supplements. How to use Tribenoside / Lidocaine: • Do not exceed the recommended dose • Do not swallow. For external use only. Suppositories: o Wash your hands thoroughly. Remove the wrapper from the suppository and moisten it with some water. o Lie on your side, insert the suppository as deep as possible into the rectum using a finger. o Wash your hands after inserting the suppository. Cream: o Clean the rectal area and dry it completely. o Gently apply a small amount of cream to the area. o Internal use: attach a threaded plastic applicator to the tube. o Insert the applicator into the rectum and press the tube. o Remove the applicator and wash it with hot water and soap. o Close the tube with the cap. How to store Tribenoside / Lidocaine: • Keep out of reach of children. • Do not use the medication after the expiration date “EXP” printed on the package. The expiration date indicates the last day of the same month. • Store at a temperature below 25°C.
