Mometasone product description is a corticosteroid that mediates anti-inflammatory actions. Mometasone works by reducing inflammatory responses associated with asthma, allergic rhinitis, nasal polyps, and skin diseases responsive to corticosteroids. It prevents the action of inflammatory cells such as: mast cells, eosinophils, basophils, lymphocytes, macrophages, and neutrophils. Therapeutic indications Aflon Avocom 0.05% nasal spray Spray it into the nose to help relieve symptoms that may occur with hay fever or other allergies throughout the year, including: nasal congestion, discharge, itching, and sneezing. Your doctor may also prescribe this medication to help prevent these symptoms two to four weeks before the pollen season begins.
