Product description: Atacand Plus is a compound medication used to treat high blood pressure, combining two active substances that work via different mechanisms to achieve better blood pressure control: Candesartan Cilexetil: widens blood vessels and reduces their resistance to blood flow. Hydrochlorothiazide: a diuretic that helps eliminate excess fluids and salts from the body. This combination contributes to effectively lowering blood pressure, especially in patients who do not respond sufficiently to treatment with a single medication. Indications for use: Atacand Plus is used to treat: primary hypertension conditions that require dual therapy to control blood pressure. Contraindications: Atacand Plus should not be used in the following cases: allergy to Candesartan or Hydrochlorothiazide or any component of the medication; allergy to sulfonamide drugs; severe liver or kidney diseases; difficulty or inability to urinate; pregnancy; diabetic or kidney patients using Aliskiren; children under one year.
