Product description: Miconazole nitrate 400 mg vaginal suppositories used for treating vaginal yeast infection (Candida). It relieves burning, itching, and vaginal discharge associated with the infection. Miconazole belongs to azole antifungals, and works by preventing the growth of fungi causing the infection. Do not use Miconazole nitrate if: you are allergic to miconazole or any other ingredient in the medication. you have a previous allergy to any antifungal. Warnings and precautions: consult your doctor before use if you suffer from: diabetes. recurrent yeast infection (more than 3 times in 6 months or 4 times in a year). Not recommended for use with: tampons vaginal douche spermicides other vaginal products during treatment period. Only use sanitary pads when necessary. If symptoms do not improve within 3 days or last more than 7 days, see a doctor. If infection recurs within two months, you may need a different treatment.
