Tavanic 500 mg contains Levofloxacin, which is a broad-spectrum antibiotic used to treat various bacterial infections in adults. It works by inhibiting essential enzymes inside bacteria (DNA gyrase and Topoisomerase IV), preventing their reproduction and leading to their elimination. Important: It is not effective for viral infections such as colds or flu. Indications: Tavanic 500 mg is used to treat bacterial infections in the following cases: - Pneumonia and bronchial infections - Sinus infections - Urinary tract infections (bladder and kidneys) - Prostatitis - Skin and soft tissue infections Method of use: Take the tablet with or without food. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. It is preferred to take it at the same time daily. Adhere to the dose and duration of treatment specified by the doctor.
