Product description tretinoin 0.05% is a topical medicine used to treat acne. It works by regulating skin cell renewal and preventing pore blockage, helping to reduce blackheads, whiteheads, and inflammatory pimples. Acne is an inflammatory skin disorder that occurs due to hair follicle blockage by oils and dead skin cells. The safety and effectiveness of using tretinoin for long periods to treat other skin diseases have not been proven. Do not use tretinoin if you are allergic to tretinoin or any ingredients of this product. Warnings and precautions stop use immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist if signs of allergy appear such as: severe itching redness or rash swelling of the face or neck shortness of breath dizziness or low blood pressure.
