Beyond Strength

Men’s Health, Prostate Cancer, and the Courage to Act

Looking after yourself takes courage. Sometimes, it starts with a conversation.

This Movember, Al Jalees invites you to a Mind Jam evening with Prof. Danny M. Rabah, exploring men’s health, prostate cancer awareness, and the decisions we often put off.

In a welcoming setting, we’ll move beyond medical terminology to discuss the questions that matter: What should we know about prostate health? How do we approach screening decisions? And how can we move past embarrassment or uncertainty to seek advice?

The Conversation

  • Understanding prostate health: Making sense of common concerns and misconceptions.
  • Early detection and informed decisions: Understanding risk and discussing screening with your doctor.
  • The courage to seek care: Exploring the hesitation and expectations that can make asking for help difficult.
  • Supporting someone we love: How partners, families, and friends can be part of the conversation.

The moderated discussion will be followed by an open exchange with the audience. Bring your questions, share a perspective if you wish, and connect with others in the Al Jalees community.
