The heart of the perfume: Damask rose, Bali rosewood, and cypress needles. The base of the perfume: sandalwood and patchouli. Size: 125 ml. Rosa Palissandro features flowers, wood, and spices immediately, with rosewood, also known as Palissandro, a component that disappeared from the perfume palette for a while but has become available again in recent years. Rosewood, a material with facets of citrus, pepper, flowers, and woody effects, was cultivated in Brazil. The use of this material gradually disappeared to preserve tropical forests. For a long time, natural materials (such as lavender type) or synthetic ones (linalool, naturally present in bergamot, lavender, or coriander seeds) were used to reproduce the scent, but without exactly matching its true aroma.
