Kaby Rwanda

KABY Kabyfi in 2003, a idea shined for farmers of Mahoro Burundi to create a cooperative entity that includes coffee farmers. They launched their work initially within a small group consisting of 28 members. The main idea aimed to expand coffee cultivation and increase revenues. And to achieve that, they applied for a private land from the local authorities and it was approved to grant them the land. After years of work and effort in developing farming, processing, and marketing methods, they were able to cultivate more than 2600 coffee trees. This harvest comes from the Kabinero region in Rwanda from an altitude reaching 1950 meters above sea level, descending from the Bourbon variety with fruity hints suitable for espresso drinks and filtration.
