This dietary supplement contains 10% calcium in a form that is optimally absorbed in the digestive system of birds. Calcium absorption through food largely depends on the form in which calcium exists. + CALCIO contains a set of 4 high-quality sources of calcium (calcium lactate, calcium citrate, calcium gluconate, and calcium carbonate). Insufficient calcium absorption through diet leads the body to remove the required calcium from the skeleton, making it brittle and easy to break. The addition of vitamin D3 improves calcium absorption in the digestive system and enhances eggshell formation and the skeletal structure. On one hand, vitamin D3 is partially absorbed through food, and on the other hand, it is partially produced in the skin under the influence of ultraviolet rays from the sun. Therefore, it is important to add vitamin D3 to birds kept indoors and with no direct contact with sunlight. Thanks to its unique composition, CALCIO + promotes good eggshell formation and supports skeletal structure. It is ideally administered through eggshell food, sprouted seeds, or fruit. Usage method: add 4 grams / 100 grams of eggshell food and provide to the birds during the preparation for and throughout the breeding season. If there is any calcium deficiency or thin-shelled eggs are laid, add 6 grams of the product / 100 grams of eggshell food.
