The French niche perfume house BDK presents us with a new scent with a spicy amber character, honoring the eastern aspects of amber and saffron spices. Ambre Safrano is signed by the talented Julian Rasquin, who added a refined touch to the black leather accord with the plum accord and Madagascar vanilla extract, bringing out fruity and gourmand facets. Sensual and intense, amber is the core of the olfactory narrative for Harrods' new exclusive stores, exploring the eastern aspects of this iconic raw material, blending the perfume with saffron, tanned leather, and woods, transporting the wearer to the warmth of the East. The golden tones of saffron reveal a velvety, leathery softness, gourmand, through the combination of vanilla, sandalwood, and oak wood. Ambre Safrano takes us on an aromatic journey far into a world of wonder and captivating joy. We wanted to explore the different aspects of amber with a representation of the burning heat of the East. Our inspiration was to create a sensual perfume by combining amber and saffron. The symbolism of saffron is very strong in history; we aimed to represent this raw material through warm, woody, and gourmand notes thanks to amber, tanned leather, and vanilla.
