Metarol 5% GR – Molluscicide (Granular baits) Metarol 5% GR (METAROL 5% GR) – Effective pesticide for controlling all types of mollusks (snails, slugs) in the form of prepared bait in small pieces, used to combat snails and slugs that damage plants in fields, gardens, greenhouses, and plastic houses such as vegetables, fruits, citrus, grapes, strawberries, grains, and others. Classification and Composition Metaldehyde (Metaldehyde): 5% Additives: 95% Classification: Molluscicide – Granular baits (GR) Crops and Usage Rates Crops: carrots, cauliflower, cabbage, cucumber, onion, watermelon, beans, lettuce, eggplant, cantaloupe, potatoes, peppers, peas, tomatoes, leeks, turnips, radishes, spinach, zucchini. Application Method Spraying: 100–300 grams / 100 square meters (10–30 kilograms / hectare) depending on the severity of the infestation. Pile method: Place a few grains around the plant at a rate of 2–3 grams, and to prevent future infestation from the soil, it is preferable to place the bait in small piles around the protected area. Withdrawal Period 20 days. Usage Instructions Granules of metaldehyde can be scattered manually or with fertilizer spreaders. It is preferable to apply in the evening or after watering. Reapply as needed depending on the severity of the infestation. Mixing Compatibility Add it alone and do not mix with any chemical substances. Storage Keep in its original tightly closed container in a dry, well-ventilated place at room temperature, away from heat sources and direct sunlight, out of reach of children, and away from food, feed, seeds, and fertilizers. Re-entry Period to the Treated Field Entry to the treated area is prohibited during the estimated 12 hours, except in cases of extreme necessity for specialized technicians, who must wear full protective clothing (coveralls, shoes, hat, gloves, masks) before entering and touching the treated parts (plants and soil). ⚠️ Restricted pesticide under the supervision of a specialized technician.
