Control-S Control-S mineral oil (winter oil / emulsifiable oil), used to combat scale insects and piercing-sucking pests on fruit trees and ornamental plants, characterized by its high effectiveness and relative safety to the plant when used correctly. Active ingredient: mineral oil (Hydrocarbon Oil) at 96% weight/volume. Physically active substance (non-chemical). Group: agricultural mineral oils. Composition: emulsifiable concentrate (EC). Mode of action: the pesticide works physically by: coating the insect's body blocking the respiratory openings eliminating eggs, larvae, and full stages leading to pest death by suffocation without affecting the plant's vital processes. Product features: high effectiveness against scale insects eliminates eggs and dormant stages does not cause insect resistance suitable for integrated pest management (IPM) programs relatively safe for humans and plants when recommendations are followed can be used during dormancy. Target pests: scale insects, mealybugs, some piercing-sucking insects, insect eggs. Target crops: fruit trees: citrus, apple, pome ornamental plants nurseries. Usage method: 200 – 300 ml per 100 liters of water used as a spray with full coverage of branches and leaves preferred at the beginning of infestation or during dormancy. Safety period (PHI): follow the safety period for the added pesticide when mixed. When used alone: follow the pesticide's safety period according to instructions. Compatibility: compatible with most agricultural pesticides. Not to be mixed with sulfur compounds or oxamyl. It is recommended to perform a mixing test before use.
