Product description

Overview The Nicla Voice device, with dimensions of 22.86 × 22.86 mm, enables easy implementation of continuous on-edge speech recognition technology, thanks to its integration with the powerful neural decision processor NDP120 from Syntiant to run multiple artificial intelligence algorithms, benefiting from advanced machine learning techniques inspired by biology to automate complex tasks. The Nicla Voice device comes equipped with a comprehensive set of sensors: in addition to the microphone, it features a six-axis smart motion sensor and a magnetometer, making it the ideal solution for predictive maintenance, gesture/sound recognition, and contactless applications. The Nicla Voice provides built-in Bluetooth® Low Energy connectivity for easy interaction with existing devices, and it is compatible with Nicla, Portenta, and MKR products. Finally, its extremely low power consumption allows continuous sensor data processing around the clock, with an option for standalone battery operation. Small enough to fit wearable devices or upgrade existing machines, enabling artificial intelligence with minimal power: Nicla Voice is the "impossible" combination that makes on-edge voice recognition possible — and easier than ever. Key features include: A powerful processor with deep neural networks embedded in a small size (22.86 × 22.86 mm) Built-in microphone, magnetometer, and a six-axis intelligent inertial measurement unit Built-in Bluetooth® Low Energy connectivity Add speech recognition capabilities to your projects Extremely low power to process sensor data 24/7 Operates independently on battery power Compatible with Portenta and MKR products Simply say the word Sound detection and recognition can change the way you interact with machines, systems, and devices. With sensors that are always active — thanks to low power consumption — all you need is a wake-up word or sound: no buttons to find while driving, no interfaces that disrupt your designs. Not only does it hear the sound of Nicla, but it also understands the meaning of sounds: thanks to advanced neural processing, it can learn to interpret audio inputs like passwords and commands. Nicla Vision can handle multiple applications simultaneously, such as recognizing different speakers, capturing multiple alert words, and activating keyword detection at the same time. But of course, there is more than just voice commands. Nicla Voice can be trained to identify noisy bearings requiring maintenance, glass breakage, intruders trying to enter, and much more. You can listen to music safely with Nicla Voice: it is integrated into smart headphones.
