Overview of the book Dhuha Al-Islam: It appeared in Ramadan 1351 AH January 1933 AD in two volumes and four parts, and its introduction was written by Taha Hussein in seven pages. I will suffice with what is possible: (... And I do not want to betray my friend Ahmed Amin by excessive praise of him, nor to betray him by belittling or neglecting his person, but I want to forget his friendship, and neglect—even for a short moment—the affection between us, which was all purity and brotherhood. We managed to make it above what people compete for in benefits and worldly aims. I only want to be fair to him, and I testify that I have thought and evaluated, and struggled myself to find some flaw, some limitation, to describe this book that I present to the readers, but I found none, nor was I successful in that, whether little or much... And I do not know which of them I congratulate more on this success—Ahmed Amin, because he worked hard, persisted, and went on with effort and insistence until he achieved this success, or the Egyptian University, because it guided itself to Ahmed Amin and entrusted him with the various types of study and research arts?...) And he concluded his introduction by saying: (I testify that Ahmed Amin succeeded in this book both in scientific and artistic excellence: he explored Islamic intellectual life in an exploration that has not been preceded by anyone, then presented it in a manner that is far from scientific coldness and detachment, and closest to the beauty of art and its sweetness...).
