A brief about the book Writing Scientific Research: Principles, Perspectives, and Experiences - Abdullah Al-Rashid:
And what is new in a book about (scientific research), and its books fill the shelves?
This is a criticism that applies to much of what is written, and the answer is that the word does not run out in scientific research; because it is the product of bright minds, its methods are renewed, and the doctrines of its practitioners are transmitted, and those who are attached to it are many, and those who enjoy its shade are constantly turning in its gardens:
And on the ingenuity of the describer with its goodness, time perishes, and its goodness has not been described.
And just the researcher, if he laments his departure to research, and writing about it and from it, should recite:
If I had the world and what is equal to it and (a phrase) for others, I would not want anything but (a phrase) in this book.
Ambition and aspiration, ambition to regulate scientific research with standards that elevate it, and aspiration to ignite a light, perhaps a passing one, to be inspired from it.
And still, it contains experiences and perspectives that I have conveyed to me from what I have seen, heard, and read:
And I have experimented with what I have tried, so it pleased me, and only experience reveals the young.
And I do not claim originality in what I have written, nor do I claim that the book is free of flaws, and I am not one who excuses himself for error, nor who denies admitting it:
It is not good for a person to excuse himself when he has no other excuse from others.
And who among me can honestly say the words of Ibn Al-Rumi about my book?
That is a noble goal, and a lofty degree in virtue, a vast height to reach:
Indeed, the gift I have given is a fragrant flower I have created; it must be scented.
