A brief about the novel of the poet with an Arabization by Mustafa Lutfi al-Manfaluti: The novel of the poet by the great French writer "Edmond Rostand", and it was issued under the title The Poet or Cyrano de Bergerac. Mustafa Lutfi al-Manfaluti rewrote the novel to convey the spirit of the novel from French to Arabic without any distortion or alteration. Love was not just a hollow word or a cold smile for "Cyrano de Bergerac", but it is sacrifice in its noblest and most beautiful forms. While he loved his cousin "Roxane", he thought that his large nose prevented "Roxane" from reciprocating his love; so he did not confess his love to her, and kept it hidden in his heart, sacrificing the most precious thing in his life to make her happy.
