Two extinguished eyes and a perceptive heart

Saleh was surprised by this invitation, but his heart was dancing with joy, for he had never dreamed that one of his teachers would invite him to his house, let alone the minister himself. Why this invitation? What is behind it? Is it out of kindness towards him, or to honor knowledge and students of knowledge? Or did he tell his wife what happened, and she and her son or both of them asked him to invite him to lunch? But... who am I? And who am I to think that these people are thinking of me? There must be a secret in this: it is true that I am a distinguished student among my classmates, and perhaps I am smarter than all of them, but this is not a justification for the honorable minister to invite me to his house.
