Before the coffee cools, Part One

You can travel through time, but you are not supposed to exceed the time it takes for a cup of coffee to cool down! What is presented is a circulating rumor about a café in Tokyo, and the details of the rumor are that anyone sitting in a specific chair there can travel through time, whether to the past or the future. In Finokli Finikola Café, there are four conditions for time travel: - You can only meet people who have previously visited the café. - Time travel cannot affect the current situation. - The person sitting in the chair cannot be forced to leave it; when the sitter stands up, anyone wishing to travel can sit in their place. - Time travel begins as soon as the coffee is poured and ends once it cools down. Despite these four rules, people feel curious to visit the café. The novel "Before the Coffee Gets Cold" by Toshikazu Kawaguchi tells of four cases where four people decided to travel through time: - Lovers: a woman who left her lover to travel and distance herself from him, then regretted it and decided to travel through time. - A married couple: the man developed Alzheimer's and forgot his wife, so the wife decided to travel through time to clarify something with him. - Sisters: the younger sister died in a car accident, so the elder sister decided to visit her. - Mother and her baby: a story of a pregnant mother who is ill and fears for her future pregnancy. An emotional journey about regret and reclaiming lost opportunities, it will move many things hidden within the souls of readers.
