About Diwan Jarir: This book contains the Diwan of the poet Jarir, prepared by Dar Sader, and begins with an introduction about the poet Jarir bin Atiyah Al-Khatafi. He grew up in Al-Yamama and died and was buried there. He was famous for his poetry of insult filled with insults, but Jarir, as this book sees, "despite his vulgarity and harshness in his insults, he was violent in his love poetry and modest in his life; he did not drink alcohol nor attend standing gatherings. He would track in his insults the faults of his opponent or what he considered deficiencies in him, and he would reproach and insult him with them."
