Philosophy and literature

Overview of the book Philosophy and Literature - Philippe Sabou: Sabou starts from a fundamental question: what can philosophy offer through approaching literary texts? And how can literature produce forms of thinking that go beyond the boundaries of traditional philosophy? The author analyzes these questions through a critical review of approaches by a number of prominent philosophers such as Jacques Derrida, Gilles Deleuze, Paul Ricoeur, Michel Foucault, Alain Badiou, and Vincent Descombes.
