The Diwan of Abu Nawas

Overview of the Diwan of Abu Nuwas: In Abu Nuwas's poetry, his tendency to move away from Arab styles, meanings, and descriptions toward new things that suit his environment with its purposes and perceptions is evident. It presents us with the different cultures of his era, where Islamic religious sciences and opinions of innovations mixed with transmitted sciences, Indian wisdom, and Greek myths. And within this book is the Diwan of Abu Nuwas, in which I collected his poems that were annotated with explanation and clarification.
