Kiki delivery service

Overview of Kiki's Delivery Service - Eco Kadono: The witch should not only fly, walking from time to time is better because we can talk to many people while walking.. and we can talk together so that each of us understands the other. Eco Kadono wrote her novel in 1985, inspired by a drawing of her daughter depicting a witch flying in the sky and listening to the radio. The novel was adapted into a film in 1989, produced by Studio Ghibli, directed by Hayao Miyazaki. The author did not grant her witch Kiki supernatural powers, but wanted her to be an ordinary girl facing the hardships of daily life like any other girl her age. Therefore, she must rely on herself to earn her living and manage her affairs, and use her mind to solve the problems she faces. Kiki learned from her journey of maturity that mingling with people, talking to them, and exchanging help is no less wonderful than flying in the sky, but it often surpasses it in magic, as it gives one the opportunity to understand the other's true nature and learn from them in one way or another, and this is the essence of the magic of daily life as the author describes it. Al-Saati says, "Having a witch often saves this city," but he does not know that magic does not necessarily mean extraordinary acts, for Kiki flies on her broom to deliver Christmas gifts, spring, music, and New Year. But above all, she delivers love, which she rediscovered within herself through her journey of maturity as a "witch."
