About the book Al-Mansiyat Al-Azimat - Tetiou Lokouk: Tetiou Lokouk's book caused a major buzz in France immediately after its release, and it topped the best-selling books list for many months. Tetiou Lokouk explores in this book a great struggle against the prevailing ideas that are based on reading history in a paternal and masculine way, without any reference to the role of women in major historical events. The author believes that women's freedom and status today were not achieved by chance, but are the result of major historical accumulations in which women fought and experienced great human struggles. However, these experiences, in the author's view, have been erased and forgotten. From this perspective, Lokouk takes us on a grand historical journey, from prehistoric times to today, trying to show the reader that women's presence is always linked to men's presence, and that at certain times, women played a major role in changing the course of history — which is itself history — that erased and obliterated them from its record.
