Product description
Jahiz has always been the favorite of the hearts of the majority of writers, and the aspiration of the eyes of eloquence enthusiasts, and the talk of hopes of rhetoric lovers. They imitate his style, follow his trail, and walk in his footsteps. And people in our time — after the glory of eloquence returned after a long weakness and fatigue — are still praising him, attributing those who present him to him. And you will not find among these more deserving of that attribution than Abdulaziz Al-Bushri, with eloquent expression, pure language, impactful influence, along with sarcastic humor, sharp sarcasm, amusing imagery, and handling people's concerns and what they encounter in their lives. He is truly "the Jahiz of the era."
Al-Bushri nearly exhausted his effort in writing articles for newspapers, broadcasting talks on the radio, and collected two books during his lifetime: "Al-Mukhtar" and "In the Mirror." Later, other articles were collected after his death in the book "Qutoof." Many readers and literary enthusiasts thought that was the extent of what he left and the ultimate of his آثار, and some were mistaken.
In this book "Al-Nudar," there are ninety new articles of Al-Bushri's pure eloquence and carefully chosen words, published for the first time in a book, covering topics among Islam, literature, society, jokes, memories, personalities, and talks about books. I have also added a special chapter on the literary renaissance in the modern era from the book "Al-Mufassal in the History of Arabic Literature," a splendid chapter that Al-Bushri authored independently, which many lovers of his literature overlook.
In these new texts, there is what helps students of Al-Bushri's literature to clarify a broader picture and richer knowledge of the secrets of his soul and the corners of his mind.
