The lost world

Overview of the book The Lost World: We are in London, in the year 1907. The journalist Edward Malone - who was rejected by the woman he loves because she sees him as an ordinary person with a very boring life, while she longs to be with a man other women envy - our friend decides to go in search of adventure and fame to prove he is worthy of it. Shortly after, he meets Professor George Challenger, a scientist who claims he discovered a "lost world" inhabited by winged reptiles and other prehistoric monsters! Some say he is just a con artist seeking fame, and there are those... the reality is that everyone considers him a con artist. But our journalist friend decides to try his luck, unaware of how many horrors await him on that journey!
