The Chronicles of Narnia 1 (The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe)

Overview of the book The Chronicles of Narnia 1 (The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe): The story begins with the discovery of four children — Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy — a fantasy world through an old wardrobe, to move to the land of Narnia filled with magical creatures. Lucy discovers Narnia first, then her siblings enter successively to find the land under the control of the White Witch who imposed an eternal winter on it. The children become part of an ancient prophecy talking about four sons and daughters of Adam and Eve who change the fate of the world. The siblings split when Edmund betrays the others and falls under the influence of the Witch, complicating their path. The Great Lion Aslan, the legitimate ruler of Narnia, appears to lead the resistance against the Witch's rule. The children fight a battle between good and evil, and discover the power within courage, faith, and choice. The story ends with the victory of good and Narnia returning to its true era.
