Product description
The people of the noble household of the Prophet have been given great virtues, a high and lofty status, and countless virtues; indeed, the best of creation, صلى الله عليه وسلم, advised regarding them, saying: "I remind you of Allah regarding the people of my household, I remind you of Allah regarding the people of my household, I remind you of Allah regarding the people of my household." Despite this clear advice, people have varied and different approaches in dealing with the noble household of the Prophet; some are excessive in their reverence to the point of deification, some are harsh to the degree of hostility and enmity, and others are moderate, and they are the Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah who, in truth, were the happiest people in preserving the Messenger of Allah's صلى الله عليه وسلم advice concerning his noble family. Amidst the hateful sectarian attack led by the Rafidah, many prominent scholars and figures of Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah were accused of harboring hostility towards the family of the Prophet, of hating them, opposing them, and fighting them. Among those who received their share of these false accusations was Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah, رحمه الله; he was the most affected and received the largest share of these accusations. The book before us clarifies Ibn Taymiyah's great concern with the topic of the family of the Prophet, his tremendous efforts in establishing the doctrine of Ahl al-Sunnah regarding them, and his sincere love for them and praise of them.
