The title of the book is consistent with this status of the roots of jurisprudence and legal principles, so the author named it "Gatherings of Truths and Principles," where "truths" refers to evidence, and the science of roots of jurisprudence means the evidence. And "principles" refers to the jurisprudential rules. Then, the author followed these discussions with notes, annotations, and branches that are important in the roots of jurisprudence, which are the meaning of completing the name and the comprehensive benefits and advantages. This book is considered one of the most important books that contain the accepted opinion in "roots of jurisprudence" in the Hanafi school, as its wording is concise and focused on clarifying the well-known opinion in the school, with each opinion illustrated by a brief example. The conclusion of the book is among the most important references that gathered the jurisprudential rules in the Hanafi school. The author's method of arranging the rules according to the sequence of the alphabet is the first method to compile the rules in this way. The author compiled these rules from the most important books in Hanafi jurisprudence, and took some from what was mentioned in "Al-ashbah wal-Nazair" by Ibn Najeem.
