The endowment and its role in the contemporary Islamic society

Thus, the author divided his book into an introduction and four chapters: The introduction was dedicated to explaining what relates to endowment in terms of its definition, legitimacy, types, and jurisprudence of endowment. The first chapter: discusses endowment and its relation to social development, and its role in strengthening society. The second chapter: discusses endowment and its relation to economic development, and the extent of endowment's contribution to activating the economic cycle and addressing many problems. The third chapter: presents the problems of endowment, the dangers and issues faced by Muslims, the officials, sultans, and rulers. The fourth chapter: discusses proposals that are believed to contribute to addressing the issues surrounding endowment and the possibility of reviving it, working to activate its role at the level of the nation.
