Authorship / Thamer Ali Muhammad The scholars, may Allah have mercy on them, compiled books in which they gathered the sayings of the Messenger of Allah, صلى الله عليه وسلم, related to Islamic legal rulings, and they were called "Hadith of the Rulings." One of the most important of these is the book by the scholar Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani, may Allah have mercy on him: "Bulugh al-Maram min Ahadith al-Ahkam" (Attainment of the Goal from the Hadiths of the Rulings). He included under each issue a collection of hadiths, and the observer might think for a moment that there is a contradiction among them. This research clarifies the narrations of the hadith, the reasons for the differences among those narrations, and their impact on Islamic jurisprudential rulings. This aims to dispel the misconception of contradiction and incorrect concepts, and to alert Muslims — especially students of knowledge — to the brilliance of the Imams of Islam in deriving rulings and responding to the doubts of Orientalists.
