Product description

This book is considered a journey marked by loss unlike any other in the treasures of the world, containing the remnants of Arab and literary heritage in particular, and the chapters of Andalusian literature lasted in it and connected to a time considered the pinnacle of Andalusian history, which is the time of the Almohads. The collection of poems in this book leads to a rich diwan exceeding two thousand eight hundred verses, consisting of poems and messages from the late sixth century to the mid-seventh Hijri century. Most of the diwan is unknown, as it was not included in the famous collections, history, literature books, or connected diwans from this era. In fact, a number of the poets chosen by (Al-Ra'ini) in his classification are not mentioned elsewhere, so the book alone preserves their blossoms and quotes their radiant lights. One of the most prominent virtues of the book is that it serves as a witness to correct and evaluate many printed diwans of poetry from that stage. This book is an appendix to two well-known texts: "Matmah al-Anfus" by Ibn Khaqan, and "Al-Dhakira fi Maqasim Ahl al-Jazira" by Ibn Bisan.
