He promised at the beginning that he would author a book on the reasons for the readings he mentioned in Al-Tabsira, and most of it he commented on as a reminder to himself, mentioning the methods of the readings, the choices of scholars, and the attribution of each letter to those who read it from the early period, and the sayings of grammarians and language scholars. He arranged the discussion of the reasons for the fundamentals in question and answer format, and as for the details of the letters, he mentioned each letter, who read it, its reason, and the proof of each group, then he mentioned his choice and pointed out the reason for his choice.
