Authorship / Al-Qarafi The eminent Imam Al-Qarafi stated in this book: that the rules are not comprehensive in the roots of jurisprudence, but for the Sharia there are many rules at the hands of the muftis and jurists that are not found in the books of roots of jurisprudence at all, and this is what motivated me to compile this book to better organize those rules according to my ability. His methodology in this book was to establish the foundations of this science by relying on two complementary pillars: the general rules and the Islamic objectives. And to complete the benefit intended from this book, it was added the "Inundation of the Sunrise" on the lights of the differences by Imam Abu Al-Qasim Ibn Al-Shat, who refined the book of Al-Qarafi and made corrections to it, resulting in a comprehensive and delightful book.
