The comprehensive Musnad known as Sunan al-Darimi

Authorship / Abdullah Al-Darmir. Arranged by Imam Al-Darimi, may Allah have mercy on him, on the chapters like the five books, and the compiler began it with an introduction that includes chapters on the virtues of our Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, and his miracles, then followed it with chapters on knowledge and related matters, then after the introduction he started with purification and what relates to it, and he concluded his book with a chapter on the virtues of the Quran. The hadiths of the book reached 3530. This is a new edition, comparable, corrected, numbered, footnoted with the chains of narration and repetitions, and the hadiths are extracted with judgments on them, with explanations of the strange words and useful comments, introduced with a scientific preface and supplemented with general indexes, and it was issued within the Hadith Encyclopedia. "The book of Al-Darimi should be considered the sixth of the five books, instead of Ibn Majah's book, as it has few weak narrators, rare strange and odd hadiths, and although it contains mursal and mūqūf hadiths, it is still more deserving than Ibn Majah's book" (Al-Hafiz Al-Ala’i) may Allah have mercy on him. It is not below the rank of the Sunnah, but if added to the five, it would be more deserving than Ibn Majah, as it is much better than him" (Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar Al-Asqalani) may Allah have mercy on him. "If instead of Ibn Majah, the Musnad of Al-Darimi was made, it would be more deserving, so the student should be keen on hearing Imam Al-Sakhawi, may Allah have mercy on him." Paper type / Shamua
