Abdul Rahman Mustafa continued an annual habit since the age of twenty-five: on his birthday anniversary, he writes in his blog "The Last Neighborhood" a summary of the past year and hopes for the new year, reflecting on successes, frustrations, hopes, and fears, on a personal level and also for the year. After passing forty, he returns to quote from his annual entries, comments on them, and conducts a dialogue between the twenty-something blogger and the thirty-something blogger and the forty-something with his new perspective on life, and at the same time, he writes a personal history of blogging, journalism, and social and political life transformations from 2005 until now.
