Author: Nouf Abdulrahman Al-Humaid The promise of Paradise, my son My last sentence was after kissing the forehead of my late child, and before covering his beautiful face with the shroud; to be today the title of a book that embodies the suffering of every father and mother who lost a piece of their precious children, and of a person who went through the same experience and the same feeling of pain, which I called "slow death" as the closest analogy to the current situation of our hearts in losing our children. In my few pages, I have presented the most important positive ways: overcoming the hardest phase we live through in this world and answers to some questions about our birds in Paradise; to reassure each parent about the fate of their lost hearts. May Allah make what we have endured weigh heavily in our scales of good deeds in this world and the Hereafter, and gather me and you in our homes, which Allah has promised us, in a Paradise as wide as the heavens and the earth.
