The study adopted the modern semiotic approach in analyzing literary texts, by tracking the places where Al-Washmi mentioned Arab literary figures in ancient times, and the semiotics of these figures relate to two important aspects, which are: the historical aspect and the emotional aspect, where these figures serve as semiotic symbols for these aspects that I mentioned.
