The approaches of the Orientalists and their positions regarding the Prophet, peace be upon him

The approaches of Orientalists and their attitudes towards the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم: Presentation and critique in light of Islamic creed. An academic scientific thesis for obtaining a doctorate degree from Imam Muhammad bin Saud University. It addressed, in a chronological historical presentation, the Orientalist writings about the personality of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, his prophethood, and his biography. It showed the diversity of schools of Orientalism in these writings, their types, and their impact on the Western and Arab worlds. It also revealed the sources and methodologies relied upon by Orientalists in their writings about the Prophet ﷺ. Additionally, it clarified the attitudes of Orientalists towards his ﷺ prophethood during the Meccan and Madinan eras, including the various opinions expressed. It highlighted fair and just opinions regarding him ﷺ, analyzed and critiqued opposing positions, responded to their issues and doubts, and examined their effects on Western and Arab writings.
